Мнение насчет Pensado EQ. Не могу с ним не согласиться. Использовал этот EQ уже в нескольких проектах. Интересно чего засэмплили. Кларифоник, Мааг, преамп Вентура у Пенсадо на столе там
Users Impression/review on Pensado EQ
1) First impression is good!
This thing is really sweet sounding, refined, and very interesting opportunities when combining the obviously quite unique chain-paths. Plug-in feels responsive and light.
2) I really like Pre1. It adds thickness that I like ... like vinyl bottom end -- somewhere in the 100 to 300 Hz range. If you're putting it on a full mix, it can be just a tiny bit much sometimes, but the low mid band comes in handy if you want to reduce 160 or 330 Hz a touch and everything sounds good and thicker. It's probably not for EDM unless you want a nice fat bottom end. Pre2 is probably better for a scooped/smiley sound, but I like my mixes to have lots of bottom end info so I haven't even used Pre2 as much as Pre1 yet.
The 9.8k band continues to impress and is very smooth/not harsh. Tried Pre1 and a small 2.5k + 9.8k boost on a vocal and it sounded NICE.
Overall, this seems to be a winner in my books. It hasn't sounded bad yet. Two features that I really like are the auto-gain knob (very useful if it's working as it should), and that you can turn the knobs and get subtle gain increases/decreases. I hate it when I turn a knob the tiniest fraction and it seems like the boost is massive. But if you need more of a boost or cut, the option for 2X dB is there.
Another thing -- the bands that I've tried don't sound like they're slapped on top of the audio. Rather, they reach into the audio.
3) A really great mastering grade EQ, that is difficult to make sound bad on any material, pretty good sound quality, reminds me of the 1st time I tried out Acustica Nebula version 3. It clearly embodies the tone of analog, not unpleasantly harsh, no matter what you do. Reminds me the most of a Manley Massive Passive...Mastering Edition....
4) It is probably the most immediately effective EQ I have ever used, very easy to arrive at the result you need, i.e tweak in the direction of where you want the sound to go. Leaves a certain crispy sheen on everything., definitely has its own sonic signature...
5) Really great sounding EQ. I trailed it out last night and used it on the lead vocal, electric guitar bus and the mix bus and it really brought the mix to life. The saturation modes are great! I actually love the pre-amp 1 even though its darker than 2 but I find I can just push the top end more to make up for the difference and it feels smoother! Great work! I've never bought an Acustica plugins because I beta test for a bunch of other companies so I dont usually spend money on plugins but I may have to buy this! I've trialled a bunch of other Acustica plugins but this is the first one that I really really like!
I was sceptical of needing another EQ, I have almost everything you have made. I just loaded this upon a mastered session (already using Azure and Scarlet) and PensadoEQ effortlessly made it sound better, 1 increment at 800hz and 1 at 34k. Just one increment on each of those bands, no pre and everything glued together, without there even being much tone change. Hihat and ride suddenly sat with the vocal, trumpet and solo saxophone suddenly felt more alive. I am in awe of what this does. I also don't care how it does it. Because it literally does IT. Amazing.
6) The difference between Pre 1 and Pre 2 are amazing... the first time I've demoed an Acqua preamp and heard an immediate difference. Both very useable, both very nice.
Speed -- this is the first Acqua that feels snappy. I mean honest-to-goodness smooth and immediate. Very nice.
Did a quick test on 10 of my tracks I'm waiting to send of to get mastered... Pensado immediately/clearly made the first three tracks better. Most of these tracks were finished back in March, so maybe I've improved since then (probable; when you're as bad as me improving isn't hard!).
Initial impressions are definitely positive... it makes me want to mix and record! This Pensado EQ is light and sexy and quick. Making quick, decisive decisions seems to be important to me (option anxiety overwhelming the amateur mind, etc), so Pensado seems like it might be a great fit.
