Предстоящая версия Rapid 1.8 наконец-то будет включать долгожданный Гранулятор! Ориентировочная дата выхода версии 1.8-июнь / июль.
The Granular Synthesis mode is selectable as regular sampler insert.
If active you will get the new controls you would expect from a granular source. The parameters will control various grain attributes like Length, Tune, Shape, Level, Spread and Position of each produced grain. It's possible to use up to 100 true stereo grains with at length of up to 1000 milliseconds. Various randomization patterns allow for very smooth grain clouds or gritty textures and more.
The processing part is already done and highly optimized. But be aware: The more grains that are active, the higher the CPU consumption.
The possibilities are there and you can run wild. Open for feedback. Hope you like the base. No audio examples yet. At a later time

CHORUS X
A new effect slot for RAPID. It's a multi-stage dual chorus that can be used to create vintage-sounding ensemble chorus effects, phasing fx, small plate reverbs and much more. Various unique parameters allow a detailed and versatile control over the chorus stages and offer a variety of characteristics. The stereo visualization of each stage gives you a good idea of what the overall result will sound like.
VINTAGIZER
Another new and unique effect. Various emulations and vintage processors are applied to the signal to reproduce the behavior of old devices such as vinyl, cassette tapes, wire recorders and much more. This effect is perfect for LoFi genres. With 24 different device models with loudspeaker, drift, artifact, tube and noise control, you can fine tune the desired result and quickly give vocals or general sounds a unique touch.
IMPROVED BROWSER
The sound preset browser on the master page now consists of different views. The new search view offers a quick way to search for presets by entering a keyword. In addition, multiple tags and other filters can be applied to quickly find presets for your purpose. Each preset can be marked as a favorite or added to a custom preset collection to enhance the workflow with many presets and projects. Moreover, the browser got many small features like renaming and duplication of presets.
LAYER LOADING
The improved browser now allows you to drag and drop presets. To load a preset directly into a layer, simply drag the preset file onto one of the eight layer buttons. This allows you to create massive patches instantly by joining previously created sounds into one large patch.
Support for Big Sur and Apple Silicon
With the latest version of Mac OS 11 (Big Sur), Apple presented its new ARM-based Apple Silicon M1 chips. Previously, Rapid 1.8.0 could already be executed with the Rosetta 2 Intel to ARM emulator supplied. To provide the best performance for this new platform, Rapid for Mac now natively supports the ARM64 instruction set.

With the latest release of MacOS 11 (Big Sur), Apple introduced the new Apple Silicon (ARM64) platform. With Rapid 1.8.5. we officially added support for this new platform and OS version. If you try to install Rapid 1.8.5 on MacOS 10.11 (El Capitan) and below you will probably encounter this message:
Unfortunately setup packages (.pkg) created with MacOS 11 will no longer work on MacOS 10.11 (El Capitan) and below. MacOS 10.12 (Sierra) and newer OS versions work fine.
Solution
At the current time there is no fix for this problem. We're still not sure if this is a bug in the latest installer creation tool from Apple or if it's the intendended behavior to deprecate older OS versions.
Workaround
A quick way to fix the problem is to update your OS to at least 10.12 (Sierra).
We will investigate the issue and try to offer a better solution or workaround soon.

@Ortseam, номер лицензии, привязанный к аккаунту, отдельно на синт, отдельно на библиотеки. Регистрируется непосредственно из синта, после ввода номера запускается сайт (аккаунт), подтверждается активация.
Ну прям бомба, так....петарда, не более. Пока унисонов разных не напихают, не видать им бомбы.
Лучший по мне так Спайр, он самый унисонный ))) Хотелось бы знать, есть ли планы у автора на 2 версию, и чтобы он там замутил.
Но если сравнивать с авенджером , то рапид лучше. Имхо конечно.
