Dear Sirs,
I use Adam A5 monitors the serial number P-85109 (pic1)
I ask you to comment on the situation that appears with your distributor the Russian company Media Club (Musicmag) Sankt-Petersburg.
Some time ago I noticed that the sound of one of the monitors began dim in treble and in general has become strange.
In this connection, I decided to check out the tweeters and discovered the following (pic2).
I am 100% sure that the monitors are not subjected to any physical effects, because I am very careful with my equipment. Nobody has access in the room where they are located except me. Thus, accidental damage by pets, children or even adults is excluded.
I've never used them for more than 40% of the volume, and consequently damage as a result of overload (if such damages are possible for active monitors) is extremely unlikely.
When I found these changes in Twitter I decided to apply to the seller. As It was still the warranty period at that moment.
In the store, they start to convince me that the monitors are in order and that all changes in sound quality are the fruit of my imagination. I also was told that sending them to the service is useless, because there will come exactly the same response.
I insisted that my monitor was transferred to the service center.
A month later I received a response from the service center (pic3).

Declared defect - changes in the sound of twitter and in its appearance.
When viewed the monitor it was found the deformation of the tweeters diaphragm, which could only appear as a result of external influences, or due to regular overload.
As a result of monitors diagnostic the distortions in the sound of twitter were not detected.
In accordance with Russian legislation the seller (manufacturer or other authorized person) is responsible for eliminating defects (faults) of the goods which have been identified within the warranty period, unless the defects appears as a result of violations of the use specification or actions of third parties or force majeure circumstances.
The circumstances listed in the technical conclusion, testify a violation of the use specification (operation), which excludes the possibility of warranty repairs in this case.

As you can see already passed a few time. To resolve such issues through the courts in Russia is practically impossible, so I decided to write this letter to you directly, because maybe you are disagree with the conclusions of your Russian representative and consider that the situation may relate to your reputation. Especially because this story has already been publicized on the Russian music forum. And others, too, would like to hear your comments to this situation.
