New Samplitude/Sequoia skins, Camo and Canis Master Mod
Dear Samplitude community,
I finally finished my Camo and Canis Skin mods. They extend and modify the original skins with several details and features without losing the original look & feel of Samplitude V11.
NEW FEATURES:
Mixer:
* 8 Aux slots
* 10 Insert slots
* numbering of Aux and Insert slots
* Mono button
* re-arranged Master section
(switched Master FX and plugins, removed Vocoder- and Dehisser-buttons to enhance overview)
* re-arranged global section (Snapshopts were moved from the EQ section. This way you can fold the EQs without losing any other functionallity)
* slightly enhanced readability of active Auxes and Inserts
* colored meters
* optimized visibility of selected track
Track Editor:
* 8 Aux slots
* 10 Insert slots

* less vertical space needed for Audio and Midi section
* slightly enhanced readability of active Auxes and Inserts
* colored meter
Trackbox in VIP/ARRANGER:
* reduced vertical space
* FX button added
* limited to two trackheight views (enhances overview, less cluttered imho)
* Pan and Vol faders are better distinguishable
* colored meters
* colored left side of folder tracks (locate folder tracks very easily)
* different Canis track border colors (integrate better with the rest of the Canis design)
* a couple of other small changes and enhancements
Toolbars:
* removed borders and handles
* smaller Grid/Quantize toolbar
(the Grid-Toolbar was modded by forum-member daxliniere, so kudos to Dax for adding this one)
Transport:
This is a completely reworked Transport. Very small, very slim. Comes in two versions with and without frame-borders. Depending on where you want to place it you might choose one or the other. Read the manual for more information.
additional Transport-Skins:
The downloadable Zip-file also contains a set of 4 older Transport skins as an extra bonus. Those were the first skins I made for Sam. They are compatible with Samplitude V9 and above, but will not be further developed nor supported.

INSTALLATION
I only included the modified files in the download. To use the Master Mod skins you need to copy the files from the original skins and the modified files in one folder. Please proceed this way (the example uses Camo, for Canis it works accordingly):
1) Make a copy of your Camo-folder within the Samplitude bitmap folder. You probably find the directory here:
C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Samplitude_11_Pro\Bitmaps\Camo
2) Rename this folder-copy to "CamoMasterMod". Now you should have this directory-path:
C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Samplitude_11_Pro\Bitmaps\CamoMasterMod
This directory should contain the same files as the original Camo-folder (72 files + 1 hidden file)
3) Inside the Zip-file you downloaded you will find a folder called: CamoMasterMod. Drag/Copy this one to
C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Samplitude_11_Pro\Bitmaps
4) Windows will now tell you, that there already is a folder called CamoMasterMod in this directory, and it will ask if you want to overwrite its content. Confirm and overwrite the original files.
5) Now you can use both skins inside Samplitude: the origional Camo and the modified CamoMasterMod.

Notice:
The Camo and Canis MasterModSkins are donationware. You can download the skins for free. But if you use them regularly I would ask for a small donation (5-15 Euro) to support the project and further development.
