Aapo Vainonen / Sixth Sample (Deelay etc) перешёл работать в Oeksound.
Как грится just FYI.

Pulsar Audio releases DigiTape
Hi everyone,
France has Nostalgie. Britain has Greatest Hits Radio. America has a SiriusXM channel for whichever decade you’re struggling to let go of.
When you’re a kid, those stations play music for old people with terrible taste.
Then one day, you put one on and think, “Finally. A station that plays good music.”
Your kids are rolling their eyes in the back seat.
Congratulations. You’re the old fart now.
We’ve now reached the point where we even miss old tape plugins. So we made Pulsar DigiTape: two early digital tape algorithms from the 2000s, brought together in one free plugin.
Those algorithms have a character that today’s more accurate tape models don’t reproduce. One compresses the existing highs and rounds transients. The other enriches the top end with harmonics from the saturated lows and mids.
CONTOUR compresses and saturate the top end and rounds transients. Five Types offer different saturation curves and tonal balances.
GRAIN saturates the lows and mids while reducing the original highs. The harmonics generated by those lower bands enrich the top end and give the signal more body.
Developed when processing power was limited, these algorithms captured the qualities of tape their creators valued most. DigiTape pays tribute to those pioneers, their work and their ears.
We’ve brought these algorithms into a modern interface, with features for today’s sessions.
Key features:
- Two complementary early digital tape algorithms
- Five tape Types
- Drive with automatic gain compensation
- Oversampling
- Instance grouping
- 20+ presets
- Low CPU consumption
- No iLok required

Thank you to everyone who helped test DigiTape, and to all Pulsar Audio users for supporting our work and making releases like this possible.
We hope you’ll enjoy it!
The Pulsar Audio Team

Massive XL | Native Instruments' legendary synth
Step into a synth that hits hard fast, then keeps opening up. This is the sound of pushing further. Hear and see it in action now.

Playing and Controlling Massive X

@cheater.ok,
