Так как программа вышла в релиз и внезапно сменила не только владельца, но и нейминг, создаю новую тему.
Подробный список нововведений и изменений в новой версии:

Некоторые моменты, связанные с новым владельцем и его политикой.

1) Более недоступны лицензии на USB ключе, которыми до сих пор можно было пользоваться.
2) Покупается только одна лицензия на один компьютер. Его можно будет деактивировать при надобности через софтину BorisFX, но только онлайн. Как будет с оффлайн пользователями пока не очень понятно.
3) Доступны два варианта владения: или подписка или пожизненная лицензия, с которой есть нюанс, бесплатные апдейты возможны только в течении года с момента покупки, потом надо покупать дополнительный план поддержки ещё на год. По ценнику подписка на год стоит дешевле баксов на 100, чем апгрейд предыдущей версии до 2025. Апгрейдить можно только версии, купленные у Меджикса за последние 4 года. Все, кто покупал раньше вроде как в пролёте.

Чет попахивает говнецом.+ еще все библиотеки Vita в пролете теперь (и наверно Independence-но про него не накопал) и старый 32 битный софт тоже-но его мне не жалко так то.

Библиотеки Vita скачиваются при установке, если их выбрать, либо можно доставить позже через хаб. Папки с 32-битными плагинами надо добавить вручную в настройках - бридж в программе есть.

What happens to the missing VITA instruments from my old Magix Samplitude version?

With the new Samplitude / Music Studio 2025 (Boris FX), not all VITA instruments from previous MAGIX versions were carried over due to licensing reasons.

They are not included in the current installer and therefore cannot be installed directly via Samplitude 2025.

What are your options?

Installation via older MAGIX versions
If you still have an older MAGIX version (e.g. Pro X8 or X7), you can install the missing instruments through that version and then use them in Samplitude 2025

сегодня пришло письмо от Мэджикс про обновление-серийник пишется при апгрейде
и, мля, 275 баксов (типа это норм и только до 26 сентября))с почты на ру покупку не сделать-висит и не пускает. с com предлагает-но я пока пас)
особенно как почитал условия -"бессрочная" лицензия как оказалась не совсем такая))
Из условий обновления:

«Бессрочная лицензия никогда не перестанет действовать, но любой контракт на обновление и поддержку, срок действия которого истек без продления, будет регулироваться ценой восстановления обновления и поддержки.

Любые контракты на обновление и поддержку, которые не были продлены более 36 месяцев с даты истечения срока действия первоначального контракта, будут считаться расторгнутыми и не подлежат восстановлению.

Если у клиента есть бессрочная лицензия с расторгнутым контрактом на обновление и поддержку, для доступа к последней версии наших продуктов необходимо приобрести новую лицензию или подписку».
