Focusrite Control 2802 is a small-format analogue recording console and a DAW control surface in one. It forms both the digital control nerve centre and the analogue heart of the modern professional project studio.
How does the Control 2802 connect to my computer?
The Control 2802 connects to your computer via a standard Ethernet connection (either directly or as part of a wider network) for the transmission of DAW Control data, however this connection does not pass audio.
To pass audio between your Control 2802 and your computer, you will need to connect the audio inputs and outputs on your 2802 to your audio interface. This can be achieved via 25-pin D-type connectors (conforming to the Tascam DB25 standard), which means that the Control 2802 can be connected directly to a Focusrite Rednet system via a Rednet 1 or Rednet 2.
