тут чуваки обсуждают aliasing... я не особо понял что это такое , но чем этой фигни меньше тем чище и лучше компрессор звучит. (там на рисунках большие пики это гармоники, а куча маленьких и есть тот самый aliasing. судя по картинкам то самый чистый звук у psp old timer, на втором месте идет cytomic. ну а с многих я просто фигею.....softube так вообще все грязные:crazy:

The big peaks are harmonics. These ones are ever 2k, 3k, 5k, etc
The small peaks are aliasing because a bad internal processing. These are sound artifacts caused by the plugin and means the sound is getting foggy and is loosing detail.
So, when you plug a Sonnox, Waves SSL, Softube stuff, etc in one track, you are...
1. processing the signal
2. Loosing detail and quality in the process
I know there are a lot of fans of Softube, SSL plugins, etc here, but this is the truth. I'm sorry.
Don't you wanna believe it? Just take a look at the original sine and then looks what the FET and CL1b do to it.
Now imagine what these plugins will do to a real track.
