The SYMPHONY SERIES BRASS COLLECTION sets a new benchmark for orchestral scoring. This two-volume set features ENSEMBLE and SOLO volumes, each offering a full suite of professional brass content within a masterfully designed interface. Created in close partnership with Native Instruments, with flawless integration for Kontakt Player and Komplete Kontrol S-Series Keyboards, these state-of-the-art virtual instruments deliver unparalleled sonic depth and realism. The ENSEMBLE offers a massive 32-piece brass ensemble. Control fully independent Trumpet, Trombone, Horn, and Tuba sections with eight players each. At the head of each section, the SOLO volume gives you First Horn, Second Horn, Bb Trumpet, Tenor Trombone and Bass Tuba soloists. With over 45,000 samples, unparalleled quality and exquisite detail, this collection is comprehensive.
The Ensemble and Solo libraries each include over 100 playable chromatic articulations. The Ensemble features extended key ranges, multi-layered true legato, a variety of sustain types, round-robin staccato with multiple staccato tonguings, trills, sforzandos, swells, crescendos, decrescendos, ultra-forte blasts, muted articulations and a wide selection of orchestral brass effects – clusters, sweeps, falls, risers, stabs, stingers, cacophonies, valve noises and more. The Solo volume focuses on detailed true legato and a variety of sustains, staccatos, dynamic expressions and special effects, with a more intimate and deeply nuanced character. Even straight out of the box, the sound is natural, full of personality, and truly huge.
We recorded at St Paul's Church in San Francisco, with 14 large Neumann studio mics, from distances of 1 to 30 meters. The result is an amazingly detailed and powerfully rich sound, with outstanding noise-free fidelity and stunningly vivid acoustics.

With loading, gain, pan and routing for each position, you have full control over your mix – plus compressor, EQ and 100 room, hall and FX reverbs to choose from. All mixer settings can be stored, and easily recalled for other NKIs.

Create instant single, double, and triple tongued attacks for sustains, expressions and staccatos with automatic Repetition control, including dynamic accenting for staccatos. And you can precisely time expression articulations to score cues thanks to a dedicated visual display, tempo-synching and/or time-stretching options.
Our intuitive legato system gives you natural flow with expressive options. Each ensemble section offers multi-layered true legato with fluid dynamic blending. Additionally, both trumpet and trombone sections also feature both slurred legato styles. The soloists provide detailed and expressive long-form true legato.
