- System Requirements:

    - Hardware: Intel Pentium 1.7 GHz and above or
		 AMD Athlon 1800 and above
		 256 MB RAM
	         Low-latency Sound Card

    - Platform: Microsoft Windows

    - Software: VST 2.0 compliant Host Application

- Sampling Frequencies Supported:

    - 44100 Hz 48000 Hz
       88200 Hz 96000 Hz

Notice: Consumes considerable amount of processing
power at higher sampling rates. Typical
figures (Lead Channel with speaker cabinet
            engaged) are as follows:

Sampling Frequency Buffer Size CPU speed CPU usage
------------------ ----------- --------- ---------
    44100 Hz 100 3.06 GHz 19.2 %
    44100 Hz 100 1.53 GHz 35.9 %

    48000 Hz 100 3.06 GHz 21.1 %
    48000 Hz 100 1.53 GHz 39.3 %

    88200 Hz 600 3.06 GHz 32.2 %
    88200 Hz 600 1.53 GHz 60.9 %

    96000 Hz 600 3.06 GHz 34.5 %
    96000 Hz 600 1.53 GHz 65.9 %

- Installation: Copy the Juicy77.DLL file into the
	       	 VstPlugins folder of your host
		 application.

- Remarks:

    - Utilizes the default graphical user interface (GUI)
provided by the host application. Since every host
application implements the default GUI differently,
the exact appearance differs from one host to
      another.

    - Automatically switches to bypass mode in the case
of insufficient memory or unsupported sampling
      frequency.

- Hints:

    - Thump parameter sets the cutoff frequency of the
high-pass filter before the preamplifier. Therefore
it adjusts the amount of low frequency content
(i.e. low-end thump) passing thru the amplifier.
Lower settings increase muddiness while higher
settings increase juiciness. This is one of the
most important parameters that determine the sound
      and feel of an amplifier.

    - Input Sensitivity parameter compensates level
differences between single coil and humbucker
      pickups.

    - In order to obtain "crystal" clean sounds the
Preamp Drive parameter should be set very low.
This prevents clipping in the preamplifier section.

    - Final output stage after the Master Volume control
clips hardly at 0 dB to prevent violation of VST
signal level requirements. This results in harsh
sounds, especially if the output level stays too
long at 0 dB. Thus, proper setting of the Master
Volume parameter is crucial for the elimination of
hard clipping at the final output stage.

    - Noise performance of Juicy 77 is directly dependent
on the noise performance of the sound card. Some
sound cards are rather quiet while others are not.
Therefore noise gating before or after Juicy 77 is
highly recommended for high noise sound cards.
