MKey PC MIDI Keyboard Version 1.01 (27-10-2003)
===============================================

This plugin is designed to convert a PC keyboard
into a pseudo piano keyboard. It will probably
be of most use to Laptop owners, although due to the
capability to map keyboard shortcuts, you may find
it useful for other things also.

The program comes in two parts. The MKey.dll file
is the VST plugin component and should be placed in
your VST plugins folder. The KeyMapper.exe file is
the program that you can use to customize the keymap
if the default one does not suit your needs. Note,
you should ideally not place this executable in your
VST plugins folder.

A few keymaps (.kmp files) have been included with this
distribution.

Note:

The MKey plugin is designed to be used in VST plugin
compatible hosts. Not all VST hosts support MIDI style
VST plugins, and of those that do, setting them up to
pass MIDI output from one plug to another is not always
straightforward. Whilst I will help as much as I can to
get MKey working in your host, I cannot provide detailed
technical support. Please consult the documentation that
came with your host.
