Overview
To extract a MIDI from a AIF/AIFF file, just drag and drop either a file or folder on CafMidiExtractor.
Once a file or folder has been dropped on
CafMidiExtractor, the
processing will begin
In
the above example I dropped a folder, now a Pause and Cancel checkbox
appear. Checking the Pause
will pause the current processing and will
only resume when you uncheck the Pause
again.
Checking Cancel will
cancel the current process and leave created MIDI files that were
extracted and
leave the Total Files Processed
and Total MIDI Files Extracted totals
at their current count when you cancelled the process.
If you don't
cancel the current process, once the process has finished
the Pause and Cancel checkboxes are hidden and the
Total Files Processed and Total MIDI Files Extracted will be
updated accordingly as well as a folder
being created on your desktop called Caf
Midi Extractor Files.
Inside the Caf Midi Extractor Files folder will be the MIDI file with
the name as the original CAF file with a .MID extension appended.
If you dropped a folder and that contains folders, the whole folder
structure will follow inside of the Caf
Midi Extractor Files folder, with each file having the same name
as the original CAF file with a .MID extension appended.
