Некая стартап-компания, разработчики компьютерной игры из Забугорья, хотели бы использовать один мой трек, который был опубликован по лицензии Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license.
Привожу фрагмент письма: “I am writing to you about the track "Rio Tribal", which I heard on the Free Music Archive. I understand that this music is under an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license.
I am part of three-man video game startup called Abyss Studios. We are close to releasing our first game called TIKI GALORE. The spirit of "Rio Tribal" really captures the spirit of our game, and we fell in love with it.
We are a commercial venture, though a very small one. This will be our first game.
We are wondering if, despite the Creative Commons license, if there is any way to use that song in a commercial product like ours”.
Как в данном случае грамотно выстраивать отношения - чтобы и в накладе не оказаться, и с жадностью не переборщить?
Просить денег сразу (продажа трека) и сколько разумно? Или роялти?
Как понимаю, в любом случае нужно оформить договор.
Чего-то туплю.
