We made improvements to the Preset System so that Preset Names are now recalled correctly and the Modified Preset status (*) behaves as expected.
We fixed a bug where the VST3 format wouldn't process the audio during an Offline Render in Wavelab.
We added a User Manual to the installer. You can access the manual by opening the About Panel and clicking the "AirEQ Premium" text.
We fixed a major issue in which AirEQ would 'fade-in' on the first process sample during playback in some hosts.

Exponential Audio пофиксили баг с пересохранением пользовательских пресетов в виндоус-билдах своих плагинов. Работаю в основном на Мак-про, но приходится иногда садиться за виндоус. Очень доставучий был баг.

Enhanced sound:

- The OSCs and filters can emulate the noise created by analog circuits
- The OSCs can emulate the saturation of analog amplifliers
- The voices and filters can emulate drift and voice detuning
- Replaced oscillators with more 'analog' sounding ones
- Boost mode sounds more 'analog' and smooth
- Replaced Reverb with a better sounding algorithm
- More accurate high frequencies of 'Delay' and 'PingPong' effect
- More 'analog' behaviour of 'drift'


Enhanced GUI & interface:

- Information about the current patch is shown in 'info' tab of the patch browser
- Rendering with ambient occlusion for a more realistic look
- More comfortable saving of patches on PC
- LCD displays have more contrast and are more easy to read

- Added mouseover support: Parameter values are displayed when mouse is hovered over them
- Mousewheel support (if host supports it)
- Mac version now also supports waveform selection by clicking on diodes

FilterBank is slowly getting vintage. The plugin is now 10 years old.

We decided to do another update to 3.4 for the PC version. There will be no 64 bit Mac version, since Apple won't provide a 64 bit version of the Carbon GUI framework.

Exponential Audio Excalibur Version 1.0.2.

It seems like it's only been a week since Version 1.0.1. That's because it's only been a week. We'll settle into a more leisurely update pace soon enough, but right now there are some fixes and improvements that you should have.

So what's in this version? You can check the release notes (included with the installer) for more detail. But here are the critical things:

The tempo delay calculation was a little bit off. It's now fixed.
The Master Feedback control wasn't functional. It is now.
There was a bug in the reverb time modulation feature. That's now corrected.
The voice effect limiter has been greatly improved. This completely tames some of the high levels you might have encountered in some presets--especially those with resonators.
There's a new limiter in the voice feedback path. While intended primarily as a safety feature, it does offer some interesting new possibilities.
Many preset change noises have been further reduced or eliminated. You may have noticed this with presets like "Swedish Kill". Please continue to report any problems that might remain.
Some preset levels have been adjusted and there are several new presets.

You can see the version of Excalibur by clicking on the Exponential Audio logo on the plugin. The information page will show you the version. You may also see an automatic update notice on the Excalibur GUI. If you do, simply click on the notice and it will take you to the download page. You can also get to the download page by clicking right here. This download is available whether you're running a full licensed copy or a demo.

There was a brief period on March 31 that an update was available that shouldn't have been. This version is perfectly good, but it places a message on the GUI that it's newer than the release. Otherwise, it's identical to the correct release. Only a handful of people downloaded this version. If that's the version you have, simply visit the download page again and get the correct version.
